2019 Competition Results
First of all, thank you so very much to all our organizers, team captains, prize sponsors, and participants. This has been an amazing experience for me, and I hope it has been for you as well.
Below you can find the winners of each contest and their prizes as well as the team standings for each team from 2019, our first year.
We will be contacting all the prize sponsors next week to let them know who to send their prize or prizes to, so if you win an award, please be on the look-out for emails from the prize sponsors. If you don’t hear from them within two weeks, please feel free to email me at spin2gether at gmail.com.
I have made every effort to make each of the 1st-place prizes or prize packages close in value to each other if not in quantity. The same is true for the 2nd place, 3rd place, 4th place, and 5th place prizes. There is one exception, which is the XXL Scotch-tension E-spinner from Heavenly Handspinning. It is worth somewhat more than the other 1st prize packages.
We will start with the individual awards.

We have prizes for each member of the 1st and 2nd place teams for both categories. I will list the team members and their individual prizes at the end.
Highest Overall Yardage Team Contest

Next comes the Highest Average Yardage Awards. To figure out this out, we took the total yardage spun by each team and divided it by the number of spinning team members.
As it happens, the same two teams above earned the Highest Average Yardage per Team Member. However, per our rules if that happened, the awards and prizes go to the next teams to share the joy.
Highest Average Yardage per Team Member Awards
